Trogli Day 68,69 - The Eastern Stairs, Narag-Shazon

 

Trogli repaired the stairs and found Gandalf's Hat on the long climb.

The stairs needed some repairs but eventually ...

... Trogli made it to the Upper Armouries of the Third Deep and ...

... The Eastern Bastion.

He found an interesting nest near Ori's abandoned camp ...

... and restored the hearth.

Ori's chest needs a key to open it.

Looks like there is another ranger camp.

Trogli found a Mapstone but foolishly he left his Black Diamonds behind, he will need to make the long walk back and forth to repair it.

Lots of statues here to repair, Trogli needs to bring some more Granite asa well as the Black Diamond.

Exploring further he reached the Bridge of Khazad-dûm but a scary voice rang out ...

... it was Narag-Shazon, a Dragon!

Shocked Trogli retreated back Oin's camp and built a Granite wall between him and any nasty creatures before settling down for a rest.

Trogli Day 67 - Kibil-nala

 

Back to The Pilgrim Library Trogli discovers another History Stone and finishes off the Great Spiders in the room.

Trogli broke through to the source of the Kibil-Nala.

He discovers a rune covered obelisk ... 

... and sings its praises.

Trogli was inspired by the writings to craft a Shanor Hammer.

The obelisk now looked magnificent and ... 

... went back to his Elven Camp to get a Black Diamond then to the Great Forge to craft a Shannor Hammer.

Back to The Eastern Stair with 20 Black Diamonds to rebuild it.

Trogli Day 66 - Secret Tomb of Kings

 

Trogli started by smelting some Shanor Ingots before exploring.

He discovers a statue of Durin 1 and had a good sing song ...

... which made him Undaunted.

The song opened some doors to ...

... The Secret Tomb of Kings ...

... a great space with the tombs of the Durin's.

Trogli pressed on the The Black Abyss ...

... chatted to the croaky bird who told Trogli to rebuild the Eastern Stairs.
