Trogli Day 62 - Ranger's Journal & Drain Pumps

 

With the Muznakan complete Trogli needed a couple of Ranger Pages to complete the Journal so went in search of another Orc Camp.

He found the page and 2 more Black Diamonds, very nice.

Back at the Ranger Camp he discovers the secret of Orkish Medicine, it doesn't sound too nice.

Trogli was struggling to find how to get across to the lake and found a Pier recipe. He needed to chop down more Ubasim Wood to make enough ...

... but as Twilight comes in he makes it over the lake ...

... and gets to the Drain Pumps.

The pumps are not in a good way ...

... so Trogli settles down to camp in a Pump room and blocks the entrance just in case.

Trogli Day 60,61 - Muznakan

Trogli continued his exploring clearing out another Orc Camp with two Black Diamonds, nice.

Trogli discovered a broken History Stone which spoke of the Journey of the Belegost.

He set up a camp in a corner ...

... and wondered about finding statues.

Trogli went back to the early parts of the Lower Deeps and ran around the hilly area looking for statues, in a few minutes he had the 7 required.

Back to the Muznakan Trogli placed the seven statues ...

... and he discovered 2 new recipes.
 

Trogli Day 57,58,59 - Watcher in the Water

 

Trogli tried to cross over to the Drain Pumps but a big wriggly surprise blocked him. His bow had no effect so he returned with his Crossbow and over 100 bolts.

Trogli fought off the hoard of Orcs but he fumbled switching from Sword to Crossbow and the Watcher slapped him around.

Trogli returned but got into trouble fighting the Orcs and used the Mapstone to return to the Elven Quarter but they followed him there!

Annoyingly a siege interrupted his return.

Back to the Watcher with a different plan, don't fight the Orcs just run and dodge.

Trogli ran about and only needed one shot ...

... to kill the Watcher off at last.

Trogli Day 54,55,56 - Fiery Beast

Trogli set up a Mapstone near the Pilgrim Road and investigated unexplored areas.

A good sing song resulted in ...

... Pale Hope so a good time to visit the Dark Mine Shaft for some more gem mining.

A nice haul of gems ...

... but pressing further on he encountered the Fiery Beast that previously 2 shot him.

Trogli tried 100 crossbow bolts but it was not enough. However the Beast did not pass through the Granite Barriers. Hopefully the Beast will be trapped there making the rest of the Mine Shaft safe.
 

Trogli Day 51,52,53 - Pilgrim Road

Trogli tried out his new Crossbow on some Goblins and thined them out before switching to his sword to deal with the last Goblins, even one stuck in the furniture!

Repair and repeat with another camp ...

... this Orc Chest had some Black Diamonds, nice.

Trogli set up a mobile base to press on ...

.. sang up a bit of Orc Frenzy ...

... and cleared out another Orc Camp.

Trogli finally made it to the Pilgrim Road but found it blocked and flooded. Need to get the pumps working.

He celebrated with an ale song ...

... and had Thyme for a bit of gardening.
 

Trogli Day 49,50 - First Age Crossbow

 

Trogli planted his Farm Boxes and set off exploring the Lower Deeps. 

He cleared out an Orc Camp ...

... and found some recipes ...

... including the First Age Crossbow.

Trogli came across a Troll accompanied by some Orcs ...

... and he killed the Orcs and used his Bow to slowly chip away at the Troll.

Trogli found another Orc Camp but he needed to repair so returned back to his Elven Camp and crafted a First Age Crossbow ...

... and some Bolts.
