Trogli - Epilog

Trogli witnessed King Thorin Stonehelm declare that Durin could return and Gimli invited him to celebrate.

Gimli declared Trogli the Lord of Moria.

Trogli watched the fireworks for so long he died!!!

In a strange twist of fate he was returned back to the state he started his adventure.

Trogli will enjoy his success with a well earned ale or three before adventuring again.

Trogli Day 152 - Rebuilding the Bridge & the Dimril Gate

Trogli brought the Adamant and 50 Black Diamonds needed to repair the Bridge of Khazad-dum. Next he built a Mapstone so he could return with Durin's Axe ...

... to dispel the Curse on the far side of the Bridge.

This revealed statues of the Durin's ...

... Trogli pressed on to the Dimril Gate.

He opened the door and ...

... his long journey through Khazad-dum was over.

Trogli Day 151 - Resealing the Wards

Trogli tried repairing Durin's statue but got interrupted by Orcs. He jumped up then round and down the other side and was able to repair the statue and sing while the Orcs wildly shot arrows.

Trogli Resealed the Wards to stop the Shadow ...

... then dealt with the Orcs and Wargs who could hide in the stairs!

Trogli ignored a siege at one of his temporary camps ...

... and decided to try and take on a Warchief.

It was slow going but ...

... eventually he wore him down for a nice set of rewards.

Trogli repaired the nearby history stone ...

... but he couldn't find the totem to destroy so he could open the Orc Chest.

Back to his Elven Camp to celebrate with an Ale.

Trogli Day 150 - Balrogs's Lair Part 2 Spoilers

After another nights rest it was back to Dragon fighting but still no progress. Trogli started to listen carefully to what the Dragon said.

No body could hurt her in her lair. So maybe the trick was to destroy the Lair.

Sure enough, the columns could be damaged ...

... and as they collapsed a shining light blinded the Dragon.

It was short work then to finish her off.

Finally the Dragon was dead.

She left behind 30 Black Diamonds and ...

... a Worn-down Ring. Legend has it that four of the Rings of Power given to the Dwarves where swallowed or destroyed by dragons, could this be one? It's power would have left after The One was destroyed.

Aric croaked an new goal, open the Dimril Gate.

But first there was a curse to manage which needs an Adamant Hammer.

Trogli Day 149 - Balrogs's Lair Part 1

After a rest Trogli followed the Dragon up a climb ...

... and found her in her Lair. Drakes flew overhead but were not interested in a fight.

There was a Mapstone to repair and after setting up a camp ...

... Trogli ventured in. He RAN AWAY a lot and dashed in occasionally but couldn't damage the Dragon.

The Shadow Curse Spit was pretty damaging and he needed some repairs.

Trogli even tempted the Dragon down the passage, she smashed a load of stuff but remained invulnerable, Trogli was missing a trick.

Trogli Day 148 - Dragon's Bone Hoard

Trogli's best preparation was to put a repair station just by the door protected by an adamant barrier. He went to confront the Dragon Lady.

Trogli told her off but she didn't leave, just spat great Shadow Cursed globs at him. He RAN AWAY or rather in circles.

Every so often he would stop at the repair station.

He occasionally fought the Shadow Orcs but after killing some more seemed to appear.

The Adamant block took a pounding as Trogli repaired, he did this a lot. A Drake turned up and he killed it quite quickly.

Another Drake appeared after a while and Trogli had a bit more trouble with this one but finally killed it, then the the Dragon legged (or winged) it.
