Trogli Day 43,44 - Drunk, Ranger's Camp, Pilgrim's Library, Dark Mine Shaft

 

Trogli used his Poisoned Mushrooms to make an Alchemical Still which allows him to brew an anti-poison ale but he needs a separate Brew Tank.

Exploring was quite a challenge with Trogli getting Shadow Cursed and Poisoned at the same time. Good job he had plenty of Lembas in his pack.

He stumbled straight into a Rangers Camp ...

Trogli keeps discovering recipes but still has not found the metal to do the forging.

Trogli inspired by his Hero-spirit pressed on into the night and discovered a spider infested Pilgrim's Library.

Shieldwall firmly in hand he found the latest wizard graffiti. Danger levels were alarmingly high.

In an attempt to STROLL AWAY with shield in hand Trogli found a mine shaft.

With materials for a Mapstone in his backpack Trogli decided to go down the Dark Mine Shaft ...

... to the bottom ...

... and create a makeshift camp in a dead end.

The darkness and despair were too much for Trogli and he died during the fast travel but the Mapstone has been created so he can easily travel back to recover his gear. 

Trogli Day 42 - Resin

Trogli admires the view from his Cave Camp and sets out to explore the Lower Deeps. He repairs the statues he finds but cannot craft any of the recipes yet.

He finds some interesting looking locations ...

... and some poisonous ones!

What's that on the right?

Its Resin, Trogli mines some of this new substance ...

... which attracts some Orcs. He does the sensible thing and RUNS AWAY.
 

Trogli Day 41 - Treasure Pile, Loom and Leather

 

Trogli used his Troll Hoard to upgrade to a Treasure Pile.

Next he built a Loom with the Ubasim Wood he collected and ...

... crafted some leather using the Salt.

With the leather he crafted a Brewskin for Ale on the Go.

And he did go, back to the Lower Deeps ...

... finding a History Marker that talked of the ancient Pilgrim Road.

Trogli mined out a very cosy Cave Camp and settled down for the night.

Trogli Day 40 - Salt

Trogli put his Granite and Silver on pallets and crafted his first Silver Ingots.

A quick gathering trip turned interesting when 4 stripy boars attacked at once, a tougher fight than the wolves who turned up a few seconds later.

Trogli collected Elebreth's Blessing to keep his Lembas production going.

Trogli then made his first exploration of the Lower Deeps ...

... and mined some Salt, returning to his Elven Camp late into the night.
 

Trogli Day 36,37,38,39 - First Age Pickaxe, Silver & Gems, Search in Vain

Trogli used his Ubasim wood to craft a Gem Cutter and Forge a First Age Pickaxe.

He resolved to make one last search of the Mines for the Ranger Camp and do some mining on the journey.

He mined Ganite ...

... Precious Gems ...

... and Silver.

Trogli broke through to the last unexplored area ..

... and gave the Orcs a bit of a telling off with his Maul.

He made a very compact Cave Camp for a nights sleep.

In searching for the Ranger Camp he found some eggs but never spotted the tell-tale green gems that indicate a Ranger Camp is near. 

He revisited the Troll and about 140 arrows later he was dust.

Picked up an Amethyst which gives a new Rune to craft.

Trogli raided the Troll Hoard ...

... and continued his search for the Ranger Camp but had to give up and return to his Eleven Camp empty handed.

Trogli needed some more storage space and crafted a platform to house some additional chests.
