Trogli Day 8 - Trogli's Adventures of Tin (Tin)

Trogli sang of Khazad-dûm while he mined a sizeable Tin Lode. Folflorin had passed onto him the secret Lembas recipe so he knew to collect some Oats.

With his bags full of Tin, Coal, Copper and Oats he made his way back to the Elven Quarter where he spotted some feathers. Folflorin warned Trogli against creating Elven Arrows with the feathers as Elven Wood is far too precious.

Trogli completed Narvi's Muznakan ...

... and received a Hat and Shield recipe but he won't be using either of them. The Sapphires and Steel will be useful though.

Trogli now got a bit overconfident and started sniping at a goblin camp but one goblin snuck round the side meaning he started ...

... RUNNING AWAY!

Folflorin advised Trogli to collect as many food ingredients as possible while in the Elven Quarter and his collection is coming along nicely.

Trogli needs to be very precise with his limited Copper Ore supply and as he was very tired he just chucked a load of Steel in the Furnace and collapsed into bed dreaming of Bronze again.

Trogli Day 7 - The Mines of Moria

Trogli eagerly crafted his Steel Pickaxe and Steel Hammer then got his pack ready for a trip into the Mines.

He repaired a few statues on the way ..

... then got digging.

More wizard graffiti!

Its a fair old drop down.

Steel needs lots of coal, this will come in handy.

Going right at the History Stone meant Trogli found a couple of pages of a Ranger's Journal. Need to return these to the book if he can find it.

Going left and down he found some Precious Gems, not what he wants. Trogli needs Copper and Tin to make Bronze.

Trogli found some honey, not sure what flowers the bees can find down here but never mind, the Miner's Helmet is a very useful bit of kit to keep his bald head warm.

At last some Copper, he can now make Bellows for Bronze smelting and an oven for trail food. Its getting late and no Tin yet.

Risking being caught at night Trogli pressed on and found the familiar red speckles of a Tin Lode beyond some Steam Vents. He noted the location for a visit tomorrow.

Restoring the abandoned camp hearth he threw down a bedroll ...

... and threw up some hasty defences before getting some sleep and dreaming of Bronze.

Trogli Day 6 - The Hoard

After the last repair the Great Forge spectacularly burst into life attracting every goblin in the vicinity.

Steel is now available but Trogli has to survive attack by over 50 goblins first.

Not messing about with bow and arrow he got right in the goblin's faces.

He survived but sadly no Black Diamond.

Continuing his exploration he found Narvi's Muznakan.

As night came on Trogli restored a Furnace ...

... to get his Steel production going.

Trogli Day 5 - Great Forge of Narvi

Trogli created a larger pack from the hides generously donated by the cute deer and went on an adventure discovering ...

... the Mines entrance and the Great Forge of Narvi.

The Forge had some goblins camped in the entrance hall, a swift bit of sniping dealt with them.

The Forge needed some repairs.

Before the final repair Trogli set up a small camp just in case something might happen.

Trogli Day 4 - Exit, pursued by a bear

Trogli will need loads of Elven wood and chopping down trees is laborious work. Why not recruit your not-friendly local lumberjack to do it for you. Annoy a bear who will chase you. Run through the trees and the bear will demolish them. Outrun the bear then go back and pick up the pieces.
