Trogli Day 35 - Brew Kettle & Crystal Descent

 

Trogli was tired but too excited to sleep. He got a batch of Evening Ale brewing ...

... then set off for the Crystal Descent.

Bats did a good job of trying to knock him off.

Halfway down he looked up ...

... and then down.

A spider's nest was an unpleasant surprise but the Maul made short work of them.

Can't even escape the graffiti artist down here.

It was pretty dark at the bottom.

Trogli collected some Ubasim wood ...

... and exhausted stumbled to the Mapstone he found at the bottom and went back to the Elven Quarter.

Trogli Day 34 - Treasure & Repairing the Mine Hoist

 

With the loot from Orctown Trogli was able to create his first Treasure Pile and could repair the Mine Hoist.

Soon after the goblins besieged one of his Cave camps but all they could do is destroy a couple of wooden platforms.

They disappeared without a blow being dealt.

Trogli decided this camp was no longer required and moaved all the contents to the Elven Quarter then mined out the Tin ...

... and also some Copper to go with it.

Trogli Day 33 - Revenge

 

Trogli hoped that if he returned the same day Bolgakh might not have fully healed but sadly he had. With only a Shieldwall he walked into Orctown and recovered all his gear except the original Shieldwall that will remain as a memorial.

Trogli did a lot of RUNNING AWAY to eat and recover his health.

As Twilight came the big Orc's health was not looking good.

The Lembas gave Trogli some extra courage and he finally finished off Azog's line for good this time.

The chests contained some good loot ... 

... and Trogli climbed over to claim the fragment of Durin's Axe.

Trogli spent the night honouring the dwarves who fell in Orctown.

Trogli Day 33 - Dead Orc Walking

 

Trogli returned to Orctown at dawn ready to bludgeon the remaining Orcs. One dropped a Black Diamond, nice.

Trogli powers up his Maul to destroy the Orc totem and raid another chest.

Onwards to face Bolgakh.

There is an Axe Fragment to find in here, need to worry about 50 Orcs first.

Two chests in the centre look promising.

Trogli Maul is penetrating Bolgakh's armour but he is out of armour himself.

Trogli lands the killing blow but what? The Orc has no health but is still upright. Trogli lets his guard down and is defeated!

Trogli Day 32 - Steaming Mad

 

Trogli knocked politely on the doors of Orctown but the inhabitants seems a trifle hostile.

Backing into a corner Trogli did a great impression of a pin cushion.

With a bit of health left Trogli was down to the last three Orcs.

He got some useful loot out of the two chests.

After all that he was killed trying to bung up a Steam Vent can you believe! Back to camp to repair and press on further the next day.

Trogli Day 31 - Thunderstrike

 

Trogli spent the day preparing for an assault on OrcTown, giving his Maul Thunderstrike which knocks back enemies.

He set up a mapstone near Orctown just in case he got defeated ...

... and crafted some Bronze in case replacement kit is required.

His bedroll is set in the Elven Quarter, he will return here if defeated so can craft some more gear.
