Trogli Day 87,88,89 - Quarrymaster and Troll King

 

Trogli needed Adamant stone so he put one of his Black Diamonds to use and crafted the Masterwork Quarrymaster. He could not carry this and his Shieldwall so would have to be careful.

Trogli found an Orc Camp protecting the route into Durin's Forge so bravely built an arial route to avoid them.

Inside he encountered the Troll King and they had a bit of banter.

The Troll King started throwing shadow cursed boulders so Trogli nipped behind a post ...

... and the poor lad got stuck on the furniture allowing Trogli to ping away with his Crossbow without any danger!

About 50 Bolts later he was toast.

Trogli jogged down the stairs to the Great Forge and Seat of Durin 1.

The Troll King kindly left 9 black diamonds behind.

There were various books lying around, one mentioned the Khazadstone.

The Forge needed the usual repairs ...

... and afterwards Trogli can now craft a Salt Bath to sooth his aching feet and purify Gundabad Slag.

Trogli restored Durin's statue with the only Adamant stone he had.
